Why SVA Linting?
SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA) play a critical role in ensuring correctness in complex verification environments. However, poorly structured assertions can hurt simulation performance, complicate debugging, or lead to ambiguous semantics. Linting SVAs helps catch such issues early—enforcing best practices in style, performance, and readability.
SVALint adopts a BYOL (Build Your Own Linter) methodology, powered by a structured data model rather than ad-hoc scripts or regular expressions. This enables robust and scalable checks, tailored to real-world verification workflows.
Agenda & Speakers
- Ajeetha Kumari Venkatesan, Director of Verification, AsFigo
- Hema S, VerifWorks India
- Srinivasan Venkataramanan, Founder and CEO, AsFigo
The session will include an overview of SVALint’s architecture, demonstrations, use cases, and a discussion on how open-source verification tools can fit into modern verification flows. A Q&A session will follow.
All are welcome—whether you're exploring SVALint or integrating open-source solutions in your verification stack.
